Medical Recs Coding & Transc. Analyst

In this role, you will be responsible for: - Reading the documentation to understand the patient's diagnoses assigned - Transforming healthcare diagnosis, procedures, medical services, and equipment into universal medical alphanumeric codes - Creating a uniform vocabulary for describing the causes of injury, illness & death - Ensuring uniform documentation between medical facilities - Reviewing clinical statements and assigning standard codes Requirements of the role include: - 3+ years of experience in any Healthcare BPO - ED PROFEE & FACILITY / CPC certified - Highlighting documentation deficiencies and playing a subject matter expert (SME) role for freshers - Good knowledge in EM outpatient coding and multispecialty + procedure codes - 1+ year(s) of experience using a computer with Windows PC applications that required you to use a keyboard, navigate screens, and learn new software tools - Ability to work scheduled shifts from Monday-Friday 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM IST and flexibility to accommodate overtime and work on weekends based on business requirements - Ability to communicate effectively in English (oral/written) to exchange information with clients.,
