About the Hospital:

Medical Oncologist with expertise in Bone Marrow Transplantation

Key Responsibilities:

Medical Oncology:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with various solid tumors and hematologic malignancies.
  
• Plan and administer chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, and hormonal treatments.
  
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary oncology team for integrated cancer care.
  

Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT):

• Lead and coordinate autologous and allogeneic BMT procedures.
  
• Assess patient eligibility for transplant, including pre-transplant workup and donor selection.
  
• Manage transplant-related complications (e.g., graft-versus-host disease, infections).
  
• Monitor post-transplant recovery and ensure long-term follow-up care.
  
• Maintain protocols in line with international BMT standards and accreditation requirements (e.g., NABH, JACIE).
  

Educational Qualifications:

• Essential:

  DM / DNB in Medical Oncology from a recognized institution.

• Preferred:

  Additional training or fellowship in BMT or Hemato-Oncology is an advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of post-DM/DNB experience in Medical Oncology, with at least 2–3 years of hands-on experience in performing and managing Bone Marrow Transplants.
  
• Proven track record of successful transplant outcomes and team leadership.
