Medical Office Rep

Role Overview: You will join BayCare as a Medical Office Representative where you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service to the community. Key Responsibilities: - Support front desk operations in a busy physician's office - Perform duties related to revenue cycle operations including check-in/check-out, scheduling appointments, handling patient inquiries, scheduling procedures/surgeries, entering orders, and managing schedules using various computer programs - Handle patient issues and record patient information - Utilize multiple computer systems, multi-task, and apply critical thinking skills to track, follow up, and ensure task completion - Perform various other administrative support duties as required Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 6 months of healthcare experience or 6 months of customer service experience - High School diploma or equivalent Additional Details: BayCare is proud to be one of the largest employers in the Tampa Bay area, with a network of 16 community-based hospitals, a long-term acute care facility, home health services, outpatient centers, and thousands of physicians.
