Medical lab technician faculty

Job Summary:

The Faculty for the Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) program will be responsible for delivering high-quality academic instruction, practical demonstrations, and skill-based training to students enrolled in the MLT course. The faculty will ensure that students gain the theoretical knowledge and practical competencies required to excel as professional laboratory technicians in clinical and diagnostic settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver lectures and practical sessions as per the prescribed syllabus and curriculum.
• Conduct assessments, examinations, and internal evaluations in coordination with academic guidelines.
• Supervise laboratory activities and ensure proper usage, maintenance, and safety of lab equipment and instruments.
• Guide students in record keeping, sample handling, and diagnostic procedures as per professional standards.
• Mentor and counsel students regarding academic performance, skill development, and career growth.
• Maintain academic records, attendance, and performance reports.
• Participate in academic audits, curriculum development, and institutional activities.
• Stay updated with current trends, advancements, and regulations in medical laboratory science.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, infection control, and institutional policies.

Qualification & Experience:

• Essential Qualification:
• B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT) / M.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology (MMLT)
• Preferred Qualification:
• Master’s degree in MLT or equivalent with specialization in disciplines like Hematology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or Pathology.
• Experience in teaching or training in a recognized paramedical or healthcare institute.
• Experience:
• Minimum 1–3 years of teaching or clinical laboratory experience (Freshers with excellent subject knowledge may also be considered).

Salary:

As per industry standards and experience.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹26,000.63 per month
