Job Description

As a Billing Executive at our company in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, you will play a crucial role in the Revenue Cycle Services department. You will be responsible for working through the book of Accounts Receivable, ensuring proper coverage on all accounts. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing a plan to maintain proper coverage on all accounts - Reviewing aged accounts, tracing, and appealing unpaid or denied accounts - Working on denials and rejections, researching previous steps taken and taking additional action as needed - Reviewing and correcting claim rejections received from clearinghouse - Verifying eligibility, coverage, and claim status online through insurance portals - Resubmitting insurance claims with no response or not on file - Transferring outstanding balances to patients or next responsible party when required - Making corrections on CMS 1500 claim form and rebilling claims - Working on denials/rejections from Commercial, Medicaid, Tricare, and Workers Compensation - Documenting insurance denials/rejections properly - Communicating claim denials/rejections details related to missing information with clients - Following up on accounts with other staff until zero balance - Maintaining required billing records, reports, and files - Reviewing and addressing correspondence daily - Identifying trends and informing client lead/manager as appropriate - Escalating issues to client lead/manager as needed - Other responsibilities as assigned In addition to the responsibilities, you will need to meet the following qualifications: - Minimum of one year's experience in healthcare billing or an Associates Degree in Healthcare Management, Business Management, or related field - Proficiency with various practice management systems such as Advantx, HST, Vision, Amkai, SIS, Cerner, CPSI, Meditech, CEntricity, Allscripts, AdvancedMD - Experience with revenue cycle management and follow-up - Strong attention to detail and ability to work within tight deadlines - Excellent organizational and communication skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficient with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel - Positive role model for staff and patients, promoting teamwork and cooperation Preferred qualifications include experience working in an Ancillary/Ambulatory Surgery Center, strong Microsoft Office skills in Teams, and the ability to quickly identify trends and escalate as needed. This full-time position is eligible for benefits and requires a physical demand of sitting and typing for an extended period, reading from a computer screen for an extended period, and frequent verbal communication primarily over the phone and face-to-face. The work environment is fast-paced and deadline-oriented, requiring the frequent use of a computer and other office equipment.
