Position Summary Joining our master data and reporting team, the data analyst will provide MediaKind with a continued solid base from which to further build out our reporting and data analytics tools which are capabilities vital to our success and agility going forward. The Data Analyst will have an interest in process optimisation, system standardisation, data integrity and creative analytics. Master Data and Reporting projects are overseen to help ensure that the risk of adverse impacts to data are minimised. The Data Analyst works with a wide variety of stakeholders across lines of business to ensure that people, processes, and technology drive sustainable improvements in data quality, and increase the value of our data as a strategic asset, and that data operates effectively and efficiently. We are looking for a delivery focussed and self-motivated Data Analyst to join our team and grow with us, this role will have a primary focus to develop Tableau projects whilst working with business and IT teams to eliminate poor data quality. Initial responsibilities are detailed below, but we expect this role will continue to evolve over time. As such, flexibility, collaboration, a passion for your work and a continual learning and improvement methodology is essential. Responsibilities & Tasks Developing, maintaining, and managing advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards and other BI solutions. Performing and documenting data analysis, data validation, and data mapping/design. Recognize business requirements and devise a solution to meet data requirements Collaborate with IT teams and business experts to implement data-driven policies and initiatives throughout the enterprise Create reports using a variety of graphical and data modelling techniques Gathering and normalizing data from multiple data sources Create, test, and publish dashboards and reports, as well as schedule refreshes Define access controls and put security measures in place as needed Troubleshooting any data or performance issues with workbooks and data sources Drive a continuous improvement methodology with reporting delivery projects, working with key stakeholders to increase utilisation and ability to gather needed insights from data Here at MediaKind, we are dedicated to creating an inclusive workplace where we appreciate the unique skills, capabilities and perspectives that our people bring.
