Media Architect

We are building Software/QA Engineering Teams to work on our Clients TV-OS product.You will be responsible for the core tasks ranging from partner SOC board bring-up, third-party API integration, feature development, code maintenance, design scalability solutions and supporting QA teams.You will play a role of technical leader who will actively participate in design, development, code reviews, defining test cases etc.You will be responsible for leading a small development team and collaborate with QA team for producing successful quality deliverables. This is an opportunity to work on end to end product development and release cycles. The ideal candidate will have endless curiosity and can pair a global mindset with locally relevant execution. You should be a gritty problem solver and self-starter who can think of out-of-box solution. The successful candidate will be a team player, display a balance of hard and soft skills, including the ability to respond quickly to Client's changing needs. Requirements

Minimum6+ years of experience in developing software for Linux based embedded systems.

Strong understanding of multimedia embedded domain.

Strong embedded C and C++ programming skills.

Excellent Debugging and problem solving skills.

Very good understanding of Linux Kernel concepts, Tools, libraries etc.

Experience in Multi-threading/Core primitives, and programming etc.

Experience in leading and technical mentoring small development team of 5-6 engineers.

Experience in actively participating in design, development, testing, code reviews etc.

Experience in working across various development and QA teams spread across globe.

Bachelors or Master's degree in CS Engineering, Electronics/Electrical Engineering

Nice to Have-

Modern C++ knowledge (C++11 to 20) is a big plus.

Contribution to Opensource development.

To stand out from crowd

Knowledge of broadcast technology and Digital TV standards (DVB, HBBTV, CI plus)

Developing software for set top boxes or TV's

Graphics, Audio, Video, Streaming, Media Player technology
