Mechanical Site Engineer GAD & Site Coordination

As a Mechanical Engineer specializing in elevators, your main responsibility will be to review, correct, and coordinate mechanical drawings, ensuring quality installation by proposing practical solutions for site deviations. You will need to have a hands-on mechanical understanding and technical observation skills to bridge the gap between design and site execution effectively. - Study and verify elevator GADs and mechanical layouts before execution. - Identify and correct errors, mismatches, or feasibility issues in drawings. - Evaluate site clearances and propose practical mechanical solutions for site deviations. - Coordinate with the design team for GAD revisions and corrections. - Ensure correct fitment and alignment of various mechanical components. - Take accurate site measurements, prepare reports, and identify potential issues before installation. - Ensure installation meets quality standards and safety norms. - Communicate mechanical deviations effectively and maintain documentation of corrections. Required Skills & Competencies: - Strong understanding of mechanical systems in elevators. - Expertise in reading and correcting GAD drawings. - Proficiency in AutoCAD. - Good knowledge of shaft geometry, load points, and structural interfaces. - Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. - Strong communication and coordination skills. Qualification & Experience: - Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. - 5 to 10 years of experience in elevator installation, site supervision, or mechanical design. - Prior experience with modern controller-based elevator systems preferred. - Willingness to travel for site coordination when required.
