Job Summary TV Rheinland India is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Inspector to join our technical inspection team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting inspections of mechanical components, systems, and equipment in accordance with international codes, client specifications, and regulatory requirements. This role plays a critical part in ensuring quality, safety, and compliance in manufacturing and industrial operations across sectors such as oil & gas, power, infrastructure, and engineering. Role & responsibilities Perform inspection and testing of mechanical equipment, components, and systems (e.g., pressure vessels, piping, valves, welds, structural steel). Review and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and inspection test plans (ITPs). Witness and verify manufacturing processes, welding procedures, NDT activities, and hydrostatic testing. Document inspection findings, generate detailed reports, and ensure compliance with applicable standards (ASME, ISO, API, etc.). Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams to resolve quality or compliance issues. Maintain high standards of safety, ethics, and professionalism in all inspection activities. Preferred candidate profile Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Minimum 03 ~ 08 years of experience in mechanical inspection, preferably in third-party inspection or certification bodies. Certification in NDT Level II (UT, RT, PT, MT) is preferred. Familiarity with international codes and standards (ASME, ASTM, ISO, API). Strong communication, reporting, and analytical skills. Willingness to travel and work at vendor sites or client locations as needed.
