Mechanical (FSS design) - MECH Semiconductor Domain

You will be participating in a Walk-In Drive for the position of Mechanical Engineer with FSS design specialization in the Semiconductor Domain. The event is scheduled to take place on 12th July 2025 at Bangalore ITPL. The venue details are as follows: Date: 12th July 2025 (Saturday) Timing: 9.30 AM - 2 PM Location: HCLTech, Unit-B ITPL, Aviator Building, Whitefield Road, SEZ, Whitefield, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560066 Contact Person: Hemalatha/Kalaivani (kalaivani.t@hcltech.com/hemalatha_a@hcltech.com) As a qualified candidate, you are expected to possess a BE degree in Mechanical, Production, Mechatronics, Industrial, or Materials Science Engineering along with a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in Mechanical Design, preferably in areas such as Medical Devices, Oil & Gas, or Precision Manufacturing. Your primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following key skills: - Proficiency in Modelling and Drafting - Ability to calculate machine design parameters - Familiarity with P&ID and Analysis (CFD/Structural, Nonlinear, etc.) - Selection of components based on project requirements - Effective communication with suppliers, internal customers, production, and project teams - Sound knowledge of Mechanical Design fundamentals and preferably a background in Hydraulics/Pneumatics - Understanding of the new product development process and experience in machine design following the same - Knowledge of Retrofit/Correction work processes and Change Requests Your key responsibilities in this role will involve: 1. Understanding and accepting the role requirements 2. Engaging in new product Engineering, Continuous Improvement, or Retrofit activities 3. Creating models, drawings, and Bill of Materials for new product designs 4. Developing Retrofit Procedures as needed 5. Taking ownership of Gas Panel Designs 6. Initiating and conducting status meetings or design reviews with the US Design Engineering Team/NPME Team, often in the evening hours (around 9/10 PM) 7.
