Mechanical Fitter

You are an experienced Mechanical Fitter looking for a challenging opportunity in Benghazi, Libya. You will be working with a renowned Oil & Gas operator, contributing to various mechanical installation and maintenance projects. Your responsibilities will include performing general mechanical duties on-site, installing mechanical equipment, fitting steel support systems, diagnosing faults, and troubleshooting mechanical systems. You will also collaborate with Electricians and Civil Engineers as necessary, drive and maintain a company-provided van, and adhere to Health & Safety guidelines and site-specific RAMS. To excel in this role, you must have proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter, a Level 3 qualification or completed mechanical apprenticeship, and mandatory Confined Space Training. Additionally, you should possess the ability to interpret technical diagrams and installation manuals. Your willingness to travel and work away from home from Monday to Friday is crucial for this position.
