Key Responsibilities

• Fabrication: Cut, bend, and shape sheet metal (e.g., stainless steel 304/316, aluminum, or galvanized steel) using tools like laser cutters, CNC punch presses, and press brakes to create components for clean room panels, AHU casings, ducting, and filter frames. Precision is critical to meet tolerances as low as ±0.1 mm.
• Assembly: Assemble double-skin panels (25mm/50mm thick with PUF/EPS insulation) and thermal/non-thermal break profiles for AHUs, ensuring airtight seals to prevent contamination. Join parts using welding (TIG/MIG), riveting, or bolting techniqu

Industry-Specific Context

• Clean Room Products: Sheet metal workers fabricate modular panels, pass boxes, laminar airflow units, and return air risers, ensuring contamination resistance for industries like pharmaceuticals and electronics. Materials must meet GMP/cGMP standards, and products often include PUF/EPS-insulated panels for sterile environments.
• HVAC AHU Manufacturing: Workers focus on constructing AHUs with double-skin panels (25mm/50mm), HEPA/ULPA filtration, and energy-efficient components like IE2/IE3 motors and AMCA-certified centrifugal fans. These units are critical for maintaining air quality in clean rooms and are tailored for applications in hospitals, labs, and biotech facilities.
