Mechanical Engineering Designer

Inviting applications for the role of Mechanical Engineering Designer! In this role Works with cross-functional teams to create designs and technical drawings for complex state-of-the-art healthcare products / systems. Work closely with engineers to create new product design & improve existing products, manufacturing systems or processes. Responsibilities Prepare drawing using 2D and 3D CAD software (Creo / Windchill ) mechanical drawings, detailed drawings and assembly models complete with calculated dimensions and tolerances. Create 3D models, sketch & draw up designs using input from engineers. Use engineering and math principles to create the mechanical parts specifications. Calculate factors like tolerances & dimensions. Create designs / detailed drawings in line with company procedures. Modify existing parts / specifications in accordance with engineering change requests, participate in drawing reviews and record & modify needed changes. Work from specifications and requirements to develop component and assembly geometry, specify materials, and establish acceptable performance standards. Qualifications we seek in you! Required Qualifications Experience in Medical systems / Mechanical engineering industry Strong written & verbal communication and collaboration skills. Creativity, analytical, technical & problem-solving skills Able to work in a team environment Associate or bachelor’s degree in mechanical design technology or mechanical engineering. Self-motivated attitude and the ability to use initiative Tools and Technologies Experience in computer-aided design software such as Creo / Windchill. Deep knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing.
