Mechanical engineer for silos, maintains, and improves the mechanical systems within grain, ore, or other industrial silos, focusing on equipment like conveyors, dust collectors, and storage structures to ensure efficient and safe operations.
Key responsibilities include assessing existing machinery, proposing modernizations, conducting safety inspections, and collaborating with teams to meet project goals for capacity, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop the mechanical components and systems of silos, including storage structures and material handling equipment.
Use CAD software to create and analyze technical drawings and specifications for silo systems.
Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure the efficient operation and reliability of silo machinery.
Assess the current technical condition of silo equipment and machinery.
Oversee the mechanical aspects of projects, ensuring they meet specifications, deadlines, and budget requirements.
Monitor health and safety guidelines during development and operational phases.
Work with clients and managers to understand requirements and align engineering efforts with business goals.
