Mechanical Engineer - Structural Simulation

As a Mechanical Structural Simulation Engineer in the Battery Pack Design team, your role will involve contributing to the structural development of cutting-edge battery packs. You will collaborate closely with CFD and testing teams to ensure robust design performance and validation. Your qualifications should include a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and an M.Tech in Design Engineering. Additionally, you should have a strong foundation in mechanical design, finite element analysis (FEA/FEM), and modern simulation techniques. **Key Responsibilities:** - Contribute to the structural development of battery packs. - Collaborate closely with CFD and testing teams for design performance and validation. **Qualifications Required:** - B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and M.Tech in Design Engineering. - Strong grasp of the Finite Element Method (FEM) and hands-on experience with FEA tools (ANSYS Structural is mandatory). - Proficiency in 3D CAD modelling using SolidWorks or Creo (mandatory). - In-depth knowledge of meshing strategies and ability to perform mesh/grid independence studies. - Solid understanding of material behavior, mechanical properties, and manufacturing processes. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills. In this role, you will need to have experience with thermal-structural coupled simulations and prior exposure to battery systems, automotive components, or energy storage technologies.
