Job Description

Position: Sr. Engineer Mechanical Location: Pune Experience: 4 - 8 years Qualification- BE/B Tech (Mechanical) only Industry - Oil and Gas, Process Industries, EPC etc Roles & Responsibility- Preparation of Technical Datasheets and Specifications for equipment and components. Assess and compare technical offers and prepare comparison sheets for review. Proficiency in P&ID and Process Flow Diagrams: Utilize and interpret Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) and process flow diagrams Detailed Engineering Tasks: Perform detailed reviews of General Arrangement Drawings (GAD), datasheets, performance curves, calculations, and layouts. Selection of Equipment: Choose equipment based on client requirements, functional parameters, and application specifics. Submission of Post-Order Documentation: Prepare and submit General Arrangement (GA) drawings, datasheets, and 3D models post-order. Coordination and Document Approval: Collaborate with clients, internal teams, and providers to facilitate smooth document approval processes. Preparation of BOM and ECO Release: Create Bill of Materials (BOM) in ERP (Oracle) and release Engineering Change Orders (ECO) for procurement. Development of Checklists: Create checklists to ensure quality control and adherence to project timelines. Sound knowledge of Oil & Gas Industry equipment, Instruments, Piping and structural work Good knowledge of blending & transfer industry with equipment & applicable industry standards Sound knowledge in application of various types of meters for Gas & Liquids Measurement, good working knowledge of ASME, ANSI, API, API MPMS, ISO & other industry standards related to Oil and Gas measurement services Good knowledge with Piping & Structural Welding and Non-destructive testing Excellent experience of Meter and Prover Sizing If interested kindly share updated cv on malvika@hrworksindia.com -
