Mechanical Engineer

As a Mechanical Engineer at our Design & Engineering team, your role will involve assisting in the creation, review, and maintenance of technical vessel drawings and mechanical specifications. This entry-level position offers a great opportunity for practical exposure by collaborating closely with both the design and production teams. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assist in reviewing and correcting CAD drawings prepared by the draughting team to ensure accuracy and alignment with design standards. - Help distribute finalized design drawings to relevant internal teams and ensure systematic saving on servers and online platforms. - Support in checking material requirements and confirming alignment with technical specifications. - Participate in site feasibility assessments with the production team and provide inputs to the design team accordingly. - Assist in briefing the production team on finalized drawings and ensure understanding of technical details. - Help in uploading required design documents to the IRS website for regulatory compliance. - Join on-site visits and support in gathering design-related feedback and measurements. - Conduct basic research on machinery specifications and their suitability for marine applications. - Maintain clear records of design updates, feasibility feedback, and compliance documentation. - Communicate effectively with draughtsmen, engineers, and production staff to ensure smooth workflow and alignment. **Requirements:** - B. Tech / BE in Mechanical Engineering (2023 or 2024 pass-out preferred). - Experience: 01 year (Freshers preferred) - Strong interest in CAD design, production processes, and marine applications. - Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or SolidWorks is a plus. - Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate across teams. - Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn from hands-on experiences. - Ability to take initiative, follow instructions, and contribute ideas. In addition to the responsibilities and qualifications mentioned, the salary offered for this position ranges from 18,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
