Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

Experience (In Years)

12 - 18 - Yrs

JD - Mechanical Engineer

Must have Design & Engineering knowledge of Static and rotary equipment & packages such as heat exchangers (shell & tube type, plate type), pressure vessels, pumps, compressors, turbine, skid-based packages with valves, piping & instrumentation

1. Process & Utility Skid packages of Mechanical systems such as:

• Sea Water cooling System
• Fresh Water cooling system
• Drain system
• Firefighting (Ex Foam, Inert Gas) system
• Fuel oil system

2. Experience in Preparation of Mechanical Design Basis, Equipment & package technical specifications, Equipment & package datasheets

3. Experience in Preparation of inquiry requisitions, technical bid analysis, vendor technical comparison & acceptance, purchase requisition

4. Review of equipment & package vendor deliverables like General arrangement & detail fabrication drawings, mechanical calculations, vendor datasheets, package vendor P&IDs, package layout, operation & maintenance philosophy, installation & commissioning procedures

5. Experience in Material handling studies and report

6. Crane Pedestal

7. Understanding of interfaces with electrical, piping, instrumentation, Structure etc.

8. Knowledge of engineering solutions to problems that reflect constructability and operability issues.
