Mechanical Engineer, Grade I

As a Mechanical Engineer at Oceaneering India Center, you will play a crucial role in product design and development. Your responsibilities will include studying inputs for a product/design, creating conceptual designs, performing design calculations, manufacturing drawings, and preparing technical documentation. You will also verify compliance to strength and functional requirements through engineering analysis, interpret industry codes and standards, refine product designs, and handle technical changes in PLM/PDM systems. Your communication skills, teamwork, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities will be essential for your success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Study inputs available for a product/design and evaluate customer inquiries and specifications - Create conceptual and detail designs, design calculations, manufacturing drawings, and bill of materials - Verify compliance to strength & functional requirements through engineering analysis & calculations - Refine and improve product designs, perform tolerance stack-up analysis, and prepare design verification reports - Handle technical changes in PLM/PDM systems, communicate progress updates to customers, and resolve technical queries - Demonstrate high initiative to accomplish individual and team goals Qualifications Required: - Graduation (Bachelors Degree) in Mechanical Engineering At Oceaneering, we provide equal employment opportunities and a supportive work environment where you can grow and advance your career.
