Job Description

As a Mechanical Engineer at GPPL Energy Services, you will be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical/electrical issues in CUMMINS KT Series DG sets. Your key responsibilities will include: - Diagnosing and troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues in CUMMINS KT Series DG sets - Overhauling and replacing key components like pistons, cylinder liners, heads, starters, alternators, actuators, electronic governors, engine wiring, panel wiring, and AVR systems - Monitoring product performance and ensuring operational uptime - Suggesting and implementing methods to enhance system efficiency - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure service excellence - Maintaining industry and product knowledge to keep pace with evolving technologies To qualify for this role, you should have: - A Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field - Minimum 2 years of experience with diesel gensets (CUMMINS KT Series preferred) - Ability to read technical schematics and interpret wiring diagrams - Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills - An organized, detail-oriented, and proactive mindset At GPPL Energy Services, we believe in innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence.
