About the Role

We are looking for a Mechanical Draughtsman to join our HVAC product design and manufacturing team. This role involves preparing detailed fabrication drawings, bills of quantities, and production documentation for ducting and sheet-metal HVAC components. You will coordinate with production, marketing, and client teams to ensure designs are accurate, materials are optimized, and projects are completed on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare bills of quantities and material lists for HVAC projects.
• Create and update fabrication and assembly drawings for sheet-metal and ducting components.
• Resolve design-related queries from clients and production teams.
• Optimize drawings to reduce material wastage.
• Provide complete fabrication data, including component and part lists.
• Maintain ERP-based documentation such as BOMs, production lists, and dispatch orders.
• Verify pre-cut components in production and share necessary billing details.
• Raise material requisitions and assist in production planning.
• Update drawings for design changes or site modifications.
• Maintain daily reports and project status updates.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment.

Skills & Requirements

• Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Drafting or Design Engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).
• Experience in HVAC product design, ducting layouts, and sheet-metal fabrication.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and BOM preparation.
• Strong coordination, communication, and planning skills.
• Basic understanding of GD&T, costing, and HVAC project workflow.
• Flexibility to work in shifts and travel between factory locations if required.
