Mechanical Designer

Job Description

Create detailed mechanical designs and drawings for lithium battery components and systems using CAD software. Develop and maintain technical documentation for designs, including assembly instructions, part specifications, and design change notices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet quality, performance, and cost targets. Assist in the prototyping of new products and components. Conduct testing and validation of mechanical designs to ensure compliance with industry standards and company specifications. Analyze test results and implement design improvements based on feedback and performance data. Participate in project planning and scheduling to ensure timely completion of design projects. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source materials and components as needed. Track and report project progress to senior management and stakeholders.Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Perform quality checks on incoming materials and components. Implement and maintain quality control processes within the design and manufacturing stages. Work closely with other engineers, production teams, and clients to understand requirements and deliver optimal design solutions. Provide technical support and guidance to production teams during the manufacturing process. Communicate design concepts and modifications effectively to all relevant parties.Stay updated with the latest advancements in mechanical design and battery technology. Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance design efficiency and product performance. Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
