Job Title Mechanical Designer / Draftsman

Vertical: Green Energy

Work Location: Vadodara

Experience Range:

Qualifications Required:

Diploma in Mechanical/ ITI-Mechanical Draftsman

Key Deliverables:

3D modelling in Plant 3D, E3D
Equipment & Plant Layout preparation
Piping Layouts, Generation of Isometrics, Pipe Racks & Piping Supports.
General Arrangement Drawings & Detailing of Static Equipment like Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers/Pressure Vessels/Tankages/Reboilers/Columns etc.
Mechanical equipment modules/skids
Shop fabrication drawings of heavy equipment & structures

Skills & Competencies:

Shall have good understanding of Plant Layouts, Equipment Layouts, Piping Layouts
Preparation of Bill of Material, Nozzle Schedule, Piping Isometrics, Steel Support Frame drawings
Shall have experience and skills of fabrication & machining detailing
Knowledge of codes and standards like ASME, lS
Knowledge of fabrication detailing, welded and bolted connections, types of materials, standards and sizes of piping, tubes, flanges, fittings, hardware
Sound experience in one of the drafting/detailing software like Autocad, Autocad 3D, Plant 3D, Solid Works, Solid Edge
Sound 3D modelling capabilities
Autocad/E3D/PDMS/PDS/Smart Plant/Microstation/Creo
Knowledge on OISD, NFPA standards for safety clearance between equipment's, Buildings etc
Engineering document management
