Mechanical Designer

Job Description: As a Design Draftsman at Career Canvas Infotech Solution in Bakrol, Ahmedabad, you will be responsible for creating accurate technical drawings and plans using CAD software. Your role will involve collaborating with engineers and architects to ensure that design concepts are translated effectively into technical designs. Your key responsibilities will include preparing both 2D and 3D drawings, reviewing engineering data and sketches, revising drawings to accommodate changes, and working closely with the design and engineering team to meet project deadlines. It will be essential for you to ensure that all designs adhere to industry standards and company policies, maintain accurate documentation, assist in creating bill of materials and technical specifications, and conduct site visits for measurements or clarifications as needed. To excel in this role, you should have proficiency in CAD tools such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks, a good understanding of engineering and architectural drawing standards, exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, the ability to work independently, and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are also crucial for effective collaboration within the team. Qualifications for this position include a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Architectural Design, or a relevant field, along with a minimum of 1 year of drafting experience. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule, requiring in-person work at our location in Bakrol, Ahmedabad.
