Mechanical Design Lead

• Hands-on expertise in CAD/CAE software (CATIA, SolidWorks, or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of

  CEMILAC certification processes, MIL-STD, and DEF-STAN standards

  .
• Proven experience in tooling, metallic component manufacturing, and vendor management.
• Familiarity with composite processing and defense-grade material specifications is desirable.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders: vendors, certification agencies, internal teams.
• High accountability and ownership of deliverables in a defense manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related discipline

• 8–12 years

  of experience in aerospace/defense product development, QA, and supply chain
