Mechanical Design Engineer

We're seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the end-to-end

process of parts and assembly design, R&D, manufacturing oversight, and

sheet metal fabrication. You'll play a pivotal role in innovating and optimizing

our products.

Responsibilities:

• Generate detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for part components.
• Conduct R&D to improve designs based on Client requirements and emerging technologies.
• Coordinate with manufacturing teams for seamless production.
• Design and oversee fabrication for military and industrial applications.
• Analyzing the given design and requirements to determine the best design solutions
• Creating detailed engineering drawings and specifications using computer-aided design (CAD) software like solidworks.
• Selecting appropriate materials and manufacturing processes for the design
• Collaborating with other engineers, technicians, and managers to ensure that designs meet project requirements
• Conducting and overseeing testing of prototypes and final products
• Keeping up to date with industry developments and advancements in technology
• Continuously improving designs and processes to optimize performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
• Conducting research and development to improve existing products and develop new ones.
• Communicating with suppliers, vendors and other external parties to gather information and ensure that designs meet industry standards and regulations.
• Creating technical documentation and user manuals for products.
• Assisting with the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Participating in project planning and scheduling to ensure that designs are completed on time and within budget.
• Continuously improving designs and processes to optimise performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Degree in mechanical engineering.
• 2yrs - 5 yrs experience in mechanical product design and analysis.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks/Creo/Catia).
• Strong knowledge of production and fabrication.
• Robust understanding of mechanical principles and concepts.
