Mechanical and Electrical Engineer Interns/Freshers

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a

  Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Design, or Production Engineering

  .

Key Responsibilities

Mechanical Engineering Responsibilities

• Assist in functional prototype design, development, mechanical assembly, and validation during mechanism testing.
  
• Create detailed

  2D drafts

  and

  technical drawings

  using SolidWorks for sheet metal, machining, and plastic components.
• Support the development and modification of

  3D models

  for parts and subassemblies with proper design intent.
• Participate in design reviews and ensure adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
  
• Prepare and maintain

  BOMs

  , design documentation, and testing records.
• Learn and apply principles of

  DFM

  , cost optimization, and performance-based design.

Electrical Engineering Responsibilities

• Support wiring, routing, and integration of electrical and electronic components in robotic systems.
  
• Assist in building and testing PCB assemblies, power modules, sensors, motors, and controllers under guidance.
  
• Conduct functional testing, troubleshooting, and validation of electrical subsystems.
  
• Help in preparing wiring diagrams, electrical layouts, and documentation.
  
• Collaborate with the team to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant system integration.
  
• Learn hardware testing workflows, measurement tools, and basic debugging techniques.
  

Skills You Should Demonstrate

• Basic proficiency in

  SolidWorks

  (2D drafting & 3D modeling).
• Understanding of

  sheet metal, plastic, and machining design principles

  .
• Basic knowledge of

  electrical circuits, sensors, wiring, PCB basics

  (for electrical role).
• Awareness of

  GD&T

  is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn industry best practices.
  
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in teams.

  ) or equivalent.
• Familiarity with
