Description
We are seeking a skilled MDM Testing Associate Analyst to ensure the quality and integrity of Master Data Management applications through rigorous testing processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing objectives, scope, and deliverables, ensuring master data accuracy, consistency, reliability, and compliance with Amgen's SOPs, policies, and guidelines. Your expertise will enable engineering teams to build and deploy compliant, high-quality products. Roles & Responsibilities: Test Planning: Develop comprehensive testing strategies for MDM applications, including detailed test plans, cases, and scripts. Test Execution: Execute test cases, report defects, and ensure resolution before deployment through functional, integration, regression, and performance testing. Data Analysis: Analyze data trends and validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Collaboration: Work closely with MDM, RefData, DQDG teams, data stewards, architects, and analysts to meet organizational data needs. Documentation: Maintain detailed test documentation, summary reports, and defect logs. Quality Assurance: Develop data quality metrics, conduct audits, and implement data cleansing processes. Compliance: Ensure master data compliance with data privacy laws and industry standards. Training and Support: Provide end-user training and create user manuals. Continuous Improvement: Stay current on technologies, validation trends, and best practices. Communication: Collaborate effectively with product teams. Basic Qualifications and Experience: Master's degree with 13 years of experience in Business, Engineering, IT, or related field OR Bachelor's degree with 25 years of experience in Business, Engineering, IT, or related field OR Diploma with 68 years of experience in Business, Engineering, IT, or related field Must-Have Skills: 2+ years in MDM implementations with a focus on testing (pharma, biotech, medical devices, etc.) Extensive ETL/ELT and MDM testing experience (test planning, scripting, execution, bug tracking/reporting in JIRA) Proficiency in Informatica MDM Hub console, configuration, IDD, IDQ, and data modeling OR Experience with Reltio MDM components (data modeling, integration, validation, cleansing, unification) Advanced SQL skills (complex queries, joins, window functions) Data manipulation expertise (pivoting, unpivoting) Stored procedures and triggers creation and management Strong Python skills for data analysis (Pandas, NumPy) and automation Basic knowledge of machine learning (scikit-learn) Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills Good-to-Have Skills: Knowledge of ETL processes Data quality management (profiling and cleansing tools like Informatica) Data governance and stewardship understanding Experience with Selenium for automated web testing Familiarity with JIRA for issue tracking and test case management Experience using Postman for API testing Understanding compliance regulations (GDPR, HIPAA) Professional Certifications: MDM Certification (Informatica or Reltio) SQL Certification Agile or SAFe Certification Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent verbal and written communication, capable of simplifying complex data concepts for technical and non-technical stakeholders Ability to collaborate effectively within global and virtual teams
