The Analyst of Master Data is responsible for ensuring the completeness and accuracy of item master data. They verify and match incoming data, query the system for relevant information, communicate with vendors, provide training, create documentation, and handle data mapping. They solve problems, research issues, and consider downstream impacts to maintain data integrity and governance. This role requires attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication, and a commitment to accuracy.
