Role Overview: As a Math/Science Teacher for Middle School students in grades 5, 6, and 7, your primary responsibility will be to deliver engaging lessons based on the designed program, corporate strategy, and guidelines. You will need to utilize worksheets, teaching aids, and methods that foster a conducive learning environment where students actively participate in meaningful learning experiences. It is essential to be well-prepared for each lesson by attending related workshops and following the provided lesson plans. Your role also involves instilling discipline, catering to the diverse needs of students, and ensuring smooth classroom functioning. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver lessons as per the designed program, guidelines, and lesson plans - Utilize various teaching aids, resources, activities, and assignments to enhance student engagement - Inculcate discipline and cater to the individual interests, talents, and learning styles of students - Perform daily duties such as checking and signing student diaries, correcting classwork and homework, and providing quality feedback - Organize and implement special events within the school Qualifications Required: - Graduation and Post-graduation in the respective subject stream - B.Ed. qualification - Strong organizational skills to maintain various records including log books, academic calendars, student portfolios, attendance registers, report cards, and internal mark records - Ability to assist in coordinating and updating records related to school events, extracurricular activities, inter-house competitions, and house points Please note that only candidates located in Bangalore are eligible to apply for this position.
