As an A/AS Level Mathematics Teacher at Gateway International School, Sholinganallur, you will play a crucial role in teaching Cambridge AS & A Level Mathematics to students. You are expected to have a thorough understanding of the Cambridge curriculum and the ability to motivate and inspire students to excel in advanced mathematical concepts. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and deliver engaging lessons following the Cambridge International AS & A Level Mathematics curriculum. - Prepare students effectively for internal assessments and external examinations (CAIE). - Develop activities that enhance analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. - Monitor student progress, offer timely feedback, and academic support. - Collaborate with the academic team for curriculum planning, assessments, and enrichment programs. - Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance. - Engage in departmental meetings, professional development, and parent interactions. Qualifications & Skills: - Masters / Bachelors degree in Mathematics or related discipline. - Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in Cambridge AS/A Level or IGCSE Mathematics. - Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Passion for student-centered learning and academic excellence. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in teaching Core & Mechanics / Probability & Statistics modules. - Familiarity with Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) framework.
