Master Data Management (MDM) Domain Architect - Director

Role Overview: As an Architect at PepsiCo's Global Data & AI Architecture team, your role is crucial in realizing the company's strategic vision by defining the appropriate architecture for high-priority data, analytics, and AI capabilities. Your deep knowledge of master data management and ability to simplify complex concepts will be essential in driving strategic direction and working on complex projects alongside your peers. Key Responsibilities: - Define MDM architecture principles and design patterns for various styles of MDM (Registry, Consolidation, Coexistence, Centralization) to support master data publishing and subscribing for operational and analytical applications. - Lead the tech strategy for Master Data Management capabilities, including tech evaluation and selection, while ensuring alignment with stakeholders such as Global Data Governance and D&AI leadership. - Conduct regular market research to stay updated on the latest trends in the MDM space, evolving technology strategy and architecture accordingly. - Evaluate existing MDM architectures and develop a roadmap towards achieving the north star architecture, driving rationalization of MDM solutions across the enterprise. - Provide coaching and guidance in the Master Data Management Architecture Community of Practice, supporting solution architects, Enterprise Architects, and program teams in utilizing MDM capabilities, principles, and patterns. - Govern D&AI product solution architectures to ensure alignment with MDM standards, minimize tech debt, maximize reuse, and accelerate speed to market. Qualifications: - Over 10 years of experience implementing MDM solutions for large multi-country enterprises, with expertise in master data harmonization and the 4 styles of MDM. - Extensive experience in solution architecture, particularly in MDM and data integration. - Bachelor's Degree required; master's degree preferred. - Consulting experience in developing data, analytics, and AI strategies for clients is highly desirable. - Experience in large multinational enterprises, preferably in the CPG industry. - Proven track record in driving technology evaluations across various vendors using a formal process. Functional Skills: - Expertise in key MDM and Data Integration platforms such as Informatica MDM, Informatica Data Integration, and Address Standardization tools. - In-depth knowledge of MDM strategies and styles, and delivering MDM solutions for complex enterprises. - Familiarity with AI technologies and their impact on MDM, Data & Analytics, and Data Integration. - Strong systems thinking and understanding of modern architecture principles. - Ability to influence senior stakeholders on technology strategy and solution design, aligning with standards and guiding principles.
