Job Description

As a Media & PR Manager at our company, your role will involve leading external communications, managing media relations, and enhancing brand visibility through strategic public relations initiatives. You will be tasked with crafting compelling narratives, building media relationships, and executing PR campaigns to position the company as a thought leader in its industry. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies aligned with the brand's overall business objectives. - Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, influencers, and key media outlets. - Draft, review, and distribute press releases, media kits, and official statements for accurate media representation. - Monitor media coverage, industry trends, and competitor activity to identify proactive PR opportunities. - Plan and manage press conferences, media briefings, and interviews to enhance brand visibility. **Brand Communication & Reputation Management:** - Ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels in line with the brand voice and values. - Develop and execute crisis communication plans and act as the primary media liaison during critical situations. - Position company leadership as industry thought leaders through op-eds, bylines, panel discussions, and speaking engagements. - Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, creative, and leadership teams to align PR strategies with brand campaigns. **Content & Collateral Development:** - Oversee the creation of high-quality communication materials including press notes, backgrounders, speeches, presentations, and case studies. - Contribute to the development of thought leadership articles, media features, and corporate communication content. - Coordinate with external agencies to execute above-the-line (ATL) and below-the-line (BTL) marketing initiatives and PR activations. **Qualifications & Experience:** - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field. - 5-8 years of hands-on experience in media relations or public relations management, ideally within a PR agency or a fast-paced, high-growth organization. - Proven track record of executing successful PR campaigns with measurable outcomes. - Strong relationships with journalists, editors, and key media personnel across various platforms.
