Job Title: Public Relations (PR) Coordinator

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented PR Coordinator to support the execution of public relations strategies, media outreach, and brand communication efforts. This role is ideal for someone passionate about storytelling, media relations, and building a strong brand image across digital and traditional platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and executing PR campaigns aligned with brand and marketing goals.
  • Draft, edit, and distribute press releases, media pitches, event announcements, and other communications materials.
  • Maintain and update media contact lists, influencer databases, and PR trackers.
  • Coordinate with media outlets, journalists, influencers, and partners for interviews, coverage, and collaborations.
  • Monitor press coverage and compile daily/weekly media clippings and performance reports.
  • Organize and support PR events, launches, influencer engagements, and brand activations.
  • Collaborate with design, social media, and content teams for consistent brand messaging.
  • Maintain brand guidelines across all public communications.
  • Track competitor media activity and stay updated on industry trends.
  • Support crisis communication efforts, if required.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Mass Communication, Marketing, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in PR, communications, or a similar role (agency or in-house).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and coordination abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and PR management tools (like Meltwater, Cision, or Zoho Social – if used).
  • Creative thinking and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Preferred:

  • Experience in handling media for consumer brands, e-commerce, or startups.
  • Familiarity with influencer marketing and digital PR.
  • Exposure to brand partnerships and corporate communication is a plus.
