We connect manufacturers, dealers, and processors with large buyers through our competitive e-auction platform . Our platform empowers small and mid-sized steel businesses to access wider markets, discover better pricing, and sell more efficiently online. Job Summary We are looking for a results-driven Marketing Manager – Mild Steel Products to help grow our seller base. The role involves identifying and onboarding steel manufacturers and dealers onto our platform and guiding them to successfully participate in online auctions for products such as round bars, coils, plates, slabs, and structural steel . This is a client-facing, travel-intensive role, best suited for someone with a strong steel industry background and established market connections. Key Responsibilities Identify and approach small to mid-sized steel producers, stockists, and dealers across regions. Promote registration and active product listing on the Tech ESteel e-auction platform . Conduct client visits and present platform benefits and case studies through professional presentations and demos. Onboard sellers and guide them through product listing and auction processes. Build and maintain strong industry relationships to increase seller engagement. Represent Tech ESteel at local trade expos, events, and regional steel industry forums . Research and target new industrial belts and steel clusters. Maintain lead status, onboarding progress, and reporting through internal CRM and tools. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy , or related field. 3-5 years of experience in steel marketing, industrial B2B sales, or supply chain roles. In-depth knowledge of mild steel product categories – round bars, coils, plates, angles, channels, TMT rods , Wire rods , Billets etc. Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills . Comfortable presenting to decision-makers and explaining digital systems. Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word ; knowledge of CRM tools is a plus. Willingness to travel extensively for client acquisition and engagement. Preferred Background Experience working with or selling to companies such as: JSW, SAIL, Jindal Steel, Essar, Smita Steels, Fortran Steel, Champak Steel, Mukand Sumi, Laxcon Steels , or similar regional players.
