Role Summary:

The Marketing & Fundraising Executive will be a key member of the team, reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). This is a strictly on-site role. The person will have a hybrid mandate — driving fundraising activities (grants, donor engagement) as well as executing the monthly marketing plan, supporting brand presence, presales documentation, and internal communications. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, communicative, and passionate about social impact, even if they are relatively early in their career (e.g., interns).

Key Responsibilities:

Fundraising Responsibilities

  • Donor Research & Outreach
  • Identify and research potential funding sources: corporates, foundations, grants, CSR programs, individual donors.
  • Prepare outreach materials (emails, proposals, presentations) to engage and cultivate donors.
  • Proposal Writing & Documentation
  • Write and maintain high-quality funding proposals, concept notes, grants, and reports.
  • Work with program teams to gather data, impact stories, financials, and outcomes.
  • Ensure all fundraising documentation is accurate, compelling, and aligned with DeepRanjani’s mission.
  • Donor Communication & Stewardship
  • Maintain regular communication with existing donors (updates, reports, impact stories).
  • Support donor engagement events (virtual or physical), and help coordinate logistics.
  • Prepare donor acknowledgement materials (thank-you letters, reports).
  • Fundraising Operations
  • Maintain a fundraising database or CRM (or Google Sheets / Drive) with key donor details, pipeline, and status.
  • Track grant deadlines, reporting schedules, and deliverables.
  • Work cross-functionally with finance and program teams to ensure proper fund utilization and reporting.

Marketing Responsibilities

  • Execute Monthly Marketing Plan
  • Work with the external marketing agency and internal stakeholders to implement the marketing calendar.
  • Coordinate with the agency on deliverables (social media content, campaigns, ads, etc.).
  • Monitor and optimize marketing activities based on performance.
  • Content & Communication Coordination
  • Liaise with DeepRanjani’s internal teams (programs, operations, therapy, capacity building) to collect content (stories, images, updates).
  • Support in creating internal and external communication collateral (blogs, newsletters, social media posts, brochures).
  • Brand Management & Review
  • Regularly review DeepRanjani’s brand presence across digital channels (website, social media).
  • Provide feedback, suggest improvements, and ensure consistent brand messaging.
  • Presales & Documentation Support
  • Provide presales support for partnerships, collaborations, CSR initiatives.
  • Prepare presentation decks, proposals, and pitch documents to prospective corporate or institutional partners.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong presentation ability.
  • High proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets).
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and project management skills.
  • Basic understanding of marketing (especially digital marketing channels) — social media, content, email, ads.
  • Previous experience (even internship) in marketing or fundraising is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally: collaborate with program, operations, finance teams.
  • Attention to detail, especially in donor proposals and impact reports.
  • Passion for social impact, particularly in the special needs / neurodiverse space. Knowledge or experience in special-needs work is helpful but not required.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in any relevant discipline (Mass Communication, Marketing, Business, Social Sciences, etc.)
  • 0–3 years of relevant experience (including internships) — early-career candidates are welcome.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
