Market Development Manager Medical Devices (Private Hospitals)

The Market Development Manager for Medical Devices in Private Hospitals will play a key role in supporting the expansion of a global leader in ophthalmic medical technology in India. As an individual contributor in a field-based position, you will be focused on driving the adoption of glaucoma surgical technologies across private hospitals in Hyderabad, Mumbai, and New Delhi. Your responsibilities will include training and educating hospital staff on products, overcoming access and reimbursement barriers, providing support to sales teams with economic and value insights, establishing and nurturing relationships with hospital insurance teams, surgeons, and decision-makers, as well as collaborating closely with Market Access, Sales, and Distributor teams. To excel in this role, you should have at least 5 years of experience in medical device sales (non-pharma), with a strong background in working with private hospitals. You should be a self-starter with a high level of energy, strong business acumen, and a mindset geared towards field execution. It is important to note that this position does not involve people management and is strictly an individual contributor role.
