Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Marine Electrician to join our shipyard team in Kochi. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems on marine vessels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems, wiring, and control panels on ships.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Carry out repair and preventive maintenance of generators, motors, transformers, and other marine electrical equipment.
• Work with technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to ensure proper installation and safety compliance.
• Ensure all electrical works are in line with marine safety standards and company guidelines.
• Support ship repair, refitting, and commissioning projects as required.

Key Requirements:

• Diploma/ITI/Equivalent certification in Electrical or Marine Engineering.
• 5 – 10 years of hands-on experience as a Marine Electrician in shipyards/ship repair industry.
• Strong knowledge of marine electrical systems, control panels, and troubleshooting methods.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Should be physically fit and willing to work in shipyard/onsite environments.

Salary: Competitive, based on experience and skills.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹85,000.00 per month
