Marine Electrical engine technician

Essential Duties & Job Functions:

• Maintain and repair all electrical equipment outboard and inboard,
• Power distribution systems
• Generators and motors
• Circuit breakers, switchboards, fuses
• Inspect wiring, lighting, and power control systems regularly
• Perform routine checks and diagnostic tests
• Identify and fix faults in electrical circuits and control systems
• Troubleshoots electrical equipment and circuits using appropriate test equipment to detect and effect required maintenance, repairs, or replacement requirements.
• Diagnose faulty systems, apparatus, or parts, using equipment and hand tools to find the reason for a breakdown and correct the problem.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, or parts to spot hazards, defects, or the necessity for adjustment or repair, and to confirm compliance with codes.
• Perform installation, maintenance and repair of electrical apparatus and equipment.
• Maintains adequate inventories of electrical spare parts and requisitions replacements as required.
• Maintains electrical system maintenance histories notating date, and extent of repairs and/or alterations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
