Job Description

As a Manufacturing Chemist, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the formulation and production processes of cosmetic products. Your main focus will be to ensure that all manufacturing activities comply with regulatory standards, product specifications, and quality norms, while maintaining efficiency and safety. **Key Responsibilities:** - Supervise and execute batch manufacturing of cosmetic products such as creams, lotions, talc, lip balm, etc. as per SOPs and BMR. - Ensure accurate weighing, mixing, heating, cooling, and filling of raw materials and ingredients as per approved formulations. - Maintain hygiene and GMP standards in the manufacturing area. - Conduct in-process quality checks during various stages of production to ensure product consistency and quality. - Coordinate with the Quality Control and Quality Assurance teams for product testing and release. - Maintain detailed and accurate documentation including batch records, logbooks, and production reports. - Ensure compliance with applicable cosmetic regulations (such as BIS, FDA, or CDSCO guidelines). - Manage raw material inventory for production and raise material requisitions when required. - Provide training to production operators and helpers regarding procedures and safety standards. - Participate in validation, scale-up, and transfer of new formulations from R&D to production. **Qualifications Required:** - Diploma/Certificate or Bachelor's degree in B.Pharm / M.Pharm / B.Sc / M.Sc in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or related field. - Strong knowledge of cosmetic ingredients, formulation techniques, and regulatory requirements. - Experience in the development of skincare products using the latest alternatives of functional ingredients. - Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and software for formulation and testing. - Conducting R&D of formulations and monitoring their stability. - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and make decisions independently with minimum guidance. In addition to the above responsibilities and qualifications, this is a full-time position with benefits including leave encashment and paid time off. The work location is in Bawana, Delhi, and the ability to commute or relocate before starting work is preferred.
