Manufacturing Chemist

Role & responsibilities

1. To supervise production activities such as Manufacturing and packing as allocated by Department Head, as per laid down procedures and systems.

2. To take responsibility of completing daily production targets and documentation thereof.

3. To assist Department Head in preparing SOPs and implementing systems as per current GMP guidelines.

4. To implement discipline, team work and good working atmosphere in the work force.

5. To ensure completion of various cGMP documentation and Batch Manufacturing Records online along with the production activities.

6. To assist Department Head in the training of workmen.

7. To have good relationship and co-ordination with other colleagues working within the department and with other departments.

8. Daily report to Department Head to appraise him about production and productivity.

9. To maintain good housekeeping standards and maintenance of production area.

10. To ensure that desired quantity is produced meeting required quality standards as per the daily plans.

11. To carry out any other function given to you by your superiors from time to time.

12. Ensure of proper safety working practices are in place & being practiced.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Chemistry (B.Sc.), or related field (M.Sc.).
2. Minimum of 2-5years of experience in cosmetic/ pharma topical industry.
3. Valid certification as an approved manufacturing chemist (preferred).
4. In-depth understanding of cGMP guidelines and other regulatory requirements.
