The Test / Automation Engineer role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining a robust automation framework to support global testing operations. This project aims to enhance engineering productivity, improve testing infrastructure, and ensure high-quality software delivery through advanced automation techniques.
Design, build and maintain an automation framework for testing the department''s systems globally
Manage, monitor, and improve the infrastructure
Develop custom tools and integrate with existing tools to increase engineering productivity
Define the automation book of work, collaborating with the team to deliver efficiencies and productivity improvements via test automation
Liaise with multiple stakeholders at all levels across the bank including international locations
Comply with test strategy, testing standards, templates, and test plans
Must have
Previously held a testing role, ideally for 7+ years within the finance sector, preferably in the Prime Brokerage & Swaps.
Proven delivery of performing functional and Automation testing to assess for accuracy, suitability, interoperability, functionality, and accessibility; and non-functional testing to assess for security, reliability, efficiency, maintainability, and portability
Knowledge of one of the modern programming languages (Java and/or Python)
Experience with at least one of the modern automation frameworks
Able to perform regression testing for project, product and familiar with Software Development Lifecycle
Strong analytical and communication skills
