Job Description

Manual Tester

Responsibilities:

Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications.
Design, develop, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios.
Conduct API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger, or similar.
Write and execute SQL queries to validate backend data integrity and support testing activities.
Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or equivalent.
Collaborate with developers, BAs, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Participate in regression, integration, and system testing.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive test documentation.

Required Skills:

3+ years of experience in
Manual Testing
.
Strong experience with
API Testing
(e.g., using Postman, REST, JSON).
Proficient in writing and executing
SQL queries
for data validation.
Knowledge of testing methodologies and defect management processes.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Good to Have:

Experience in automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Rest Assured).
Exposure to performance or security testing.
ISTQB Certification is a plus.
