Manual Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Execution:

Manually executing test cases, documenting results, and tracking defects using a bug tracking system.

• Test Planning & Design:

Creating and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project specifications and user stories.

• Defect Reporting:

Identifying and reporting defects, providing detailed steps for reproduction and relevant information.

• Collaboration:

Working closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure software quality.

• Communication:

Clearly communicating test results, issues, and progress to the relevant teams.

• QA Process Optimization:

Contributing to the improvement of testing processes and procedures.

• Documentation:

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.

Required Skills:

• Manual Testing: Proficiency in various manual testing techniques and methodologies.

• Test Case Design: Ability to design effective and efficient test cases based on requirements.

• Defect Tracking: Experience using bug tracking tools and reporting defects effectively.

• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues.

• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail and the ability to spot inconsistencies.

• Technical Skills: Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing concepts.
