Manual Test Engineer

As a passionate QA Test Engineer Senior Specialist at Nasdaq Technology, your role will involve focusing on Back End/Server Side Software testing at the Bangalore technology center in India. You will play a crucial role in implementing and performing comprehensive test cases, testing maintenance releases, and configuration changes to assure quality in our global leading systems. Additionally, you will be responsible for testing complex technical systems for new and existing customers within the FinTech industry. Key Responsibilities: - Work in a strong experienced team delivering complex technology solutions to international clients - Document test strategy, test cases, prepare test environment, perform integration and system testing, regression testing, and raise defects in the system - Independently test software systems end to end and perform root cause analysis of issues observed during the testing cycle - Communicate effectively and present testing strategies in front of any audience - Mentor, guide, and train more junior QA team members Qualifications Required: - 8-12 years of software testing experience specifically in Server-Side Testing with strong back-end testing knowledge - Commercial experience with Linux based scripting languages such as Bash and Python - Experience in Financial Services, Trading, or Capital Markets domain preferred - Positive attitude, ability to multitask, proactive mindset, and problem-solving skills - Bachelor/Master in computer science, Information Systems, or related discipline It would be great if you have experience working with multiple asset classes, high transaction volumes, testing applications/services hosted in AWS, Compliance, Regulation, Surveillance domain, or any related domain. Specialist Certifications in QA/Testing Methodology are also a plus.
