Manual Test Engineer

As a Manual Test Engineer in a Contract role, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing system specifications. You will create test cases with detailed test steps and perform peer reviews of test cases. Your role will also involve creating and delivering software test plans, test cases, and test summary reports. In this position, you will be actively participating in manual testing while following Software QA Governance procedures. You will execute test cases, analyze results, and log defects in the defect management tool. Proficiency in SQL queries is essential for this role, including tasks such as retrieving data from multiple tables and querying related data. As the Software Tester, you will report bugs and errors to the development teams, assist in troubleshooting issues, and provide support for post-release and post-implementation testing. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain quality throughout the software development lifecycle will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Additionally, having experience in Production Deployment and support is beneficial for this role. Knowledge of automation testing with tools like Selenium is considered a plus. Possessing an ISTQB certification would be advantageous for this position. To be considered for this role, it is required that your educational background includes scores above 80% in 10th, 12th, and graduation, with a minimum of 75%.
