Job Description

Manual Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design and execute
manual test cases
for
web and mobile-based digital banking applications
Understand and validate
banking channels, interfaces
, and
core banking dependencies
Perform
functional, exploratory
, and
data migration testing
Prepare and maintain
test scenarios
,
test cases
, and
RTM (Requirement Traceability Matrix)
Conduct
defect reporting and tracking
in coordination with development and business teams
Support
System Integration Testing (SIT)
and
User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
phases
Perform
UAT validation
against business requirements and provide feedback on user satisfaction
Manage
test environments
, test data preparation, and reporting
Ensure validation of key
retail banking modules
including:

CASA
,
Assets
,
Liabilities
GL Reconciliation
,
Reports
,
Limits
Term Deposits
,
Transfers & Payments
Remittance
,
Cheque Clearing
,
DD issuance
Teller operations

Test
retail operations
like:

Account lifecycle
Loan lifecycle services
Debit card issuance & transactions

Provide input on
retail assets and liabilities
scenarios
Validate
data integrity
during
data migration
testing

Preferred Skills:

Strong domain expertise in
Retail Banking
and
Digital Banking
Experience in
Ethix Core Banking System
is a
plus
Hands-on experience in
Cards
,
Loans
, and
Payments
testing
Familiarity with
Agile methodology
and QA best practices

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related discipline
Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is preferred
