Manual Test Engineer

As a Manual Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of web applications. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing, maintaining, and reviewing test cases to enhance test coverage and ensure feature interaction and performance standards. - Collaborating with product development teams to create detailed test plans for each release. - Executing test cases/scripts and recording detailed results aligned with defined testing processes. - Analyzing test outcomes and user feedback, and working closely with developers to resolve issues. - Generating periodic test reports by comparing test results across builds. - Enhancing test coverage by analyzing defects and integrating new test cases. - Leading first-level defect analysis and contributing to root cause identification. - Working independently while applying detailed process knowledge and best practices. - Providing mentorship and training to onboarding team members. To qualify for this role, you should have: - Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Manual Test Engineer. - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Strong grasp of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. - Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. - Skills in writing test plans, test cases, and conducting usability tests. - Effective communicator with strong verbal and written communication skills. - Highly organized with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working with minimal supervision. - Comfortable managing priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
