Manga Character Artist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented Manga Character Artist to create compelling and stylistically consistent characters for our manga series. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of human anatomy, manga art styles, and visual storytelling. You will work closely with writers, lead illustrators, and editors to bring characters to life that resonate with readers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design original manga-style characters based on scripts, briefs, or concepts.
• Create character sheets, turnarounds, and expression sheets.
• Ensure consistency in style, proportions, and visual tone throughout the project.
• Collaborate with writers, lead artists, and editors to ensure character designs align with the narrative and genre.
• Revise character designs based on feedback from the creative team.
• Work within deadlines and maintain high-quality output.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in manga or comic book illustration (portfolio required).
• Strong understanding of manga art styles (Shonen, Shojo, Seinen, etc.).
• Proficiency in traditional or digital drawing tools (e.g., Clip Studio Paint, Photoshop, Procreate).
• Strong sense of anatomy, proportion, gesture, and facial expression.
• Ability to translate written character descriptions into visual concepts.
• Understanding of visual storytelling and panel composition (a plus).
• Ability to adapt to different artistic styles if needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
