Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain MySQL, MS SQL Server, and PostgreSQL databases.
Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies.
Perform regular backups, restorations, and disaster recovery planning.
Design and implement database security policies, including user access controls and encryption.
Automate routine tasks using scripts and tools.
Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to optimize database design and queries.
Manage replication, clustering, and high availability configurations.
Conduct capacity planning and database growth forecasting.
Maintain documentation of database configurations, procedures and standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.
